Branding Challenge: Breaking the Mold in Pilates

My challenge was clear: to create a Pilates brand that stood out radically from what the market traditionally offers. Far from the visual clichés of generic silhouettes or static symbols, I sought something that truly conveyed the essence of movement and body structure.

The solution came from a deep dive into the principles of Pilates and human anatomy. I decided to focus on one of the most crucial pillars of the practice: the spinal column and its vertebrae. This choice allowed me to develop a brand that not only represents movement and flexibility, but also support and balance—fundamental elements for anyone seeking Pilates.

The result is a unique visual identity that breaks from convention and communicates, in a sophisticated and symbolic way, the importance of spinal mobility and body alignment, which are central to the health and well-being that Pilates provides.

Modernizing Ascor Seguradora: Honoring Tradition, Embracing the Future

My challenge was to reinvigorate Ascor Seguradora, a company with over 30 years of market consolidation, without sacrificing its core identity. The goal was to modernize the brand while preserving its essence and the emotional connection customers had with its established image.

The solution lay in a thoughtful approach: we strategically integrated key elements from the previous brand into the new design. By maintaining a degree of similarity in visual cues and leveraging the positive sentiment associated with the old mark, we ensured a seamless transition. The result is a refreshed Ascor Seguradora that feels contemporary and forward-looking, yet still deeply familiar and trustworthy to its long-standing clientele.
